Since 1978, this artist has been creating glass work in the Detroit area. She draws her fused glass pieces before cutting any glass. Colors are selected to achieve a multitude of hues, shapes, and patterns. Each piece is then fired. She follows the art of fused glass, which has been around for centuries. This allows for the bubbles in the glass to not be imperfections, but rather the “thumbprint” of a handmade work of art.
